Author: The Thirsty Parrot might just be the most fun and uplifting restaurant/bar in Rocky Point! It is definately the only Carribean themed restaurant. Its run by two sisters, Cathi and Terri, both who share a love for travelling to the islands. Throughout the decor, you can find signs, flags, and other sea farer memorabilia along with neat thigns that they have picked up along the way. The real estate sign from the Key West (the southernmost tip of the USA) is probably Cathi’s most prized possession.
The only Carribean themed restuarant in Rocky Point
The menu has a wide selection of seafood as well as local favorites. Be sure to try their chiles rellenos, the spicy lettuce wraps, and the toucan salad! They also have one of the best stocked bars in town, and they’re the only ones that offer Fat Tuesday frozen drinks. Be sure to try all the flavors and be careful doing so, they pack a punch!

The Thirsty Parrot has the widest selection of live music and entertainment Rocky Point has ever seen. They bring in the likes of Alonzo from Tucson, Brent Burns, Rob Mehl, and the Stinson Brothers to play for all the Parrot Heads that flock there. The Thirsty Parrot is always a packed house on event night, so make sure you get there early to grab a seat!
