Another oldie but goodie down in the Malecon is the Shark Bite. Established in early 2000-and-something, Garret (locally known as Santana) has put a real Cali surfer feel to what is argueably the best dive bar in Rocky Point. There are dollar bills glued up everywhere, a well stocked bar on hand painted shelves, and bar stools that look like they’re from a trendy Venice Beach thrift store. The Shark Bite captivates the young funky fresh vibe that is the nouveau Rocky Point, attracting the artsy, eclectic, and 20 something flower children of Rocky Point.

The Shark Bite serves up some of the best new cocktails on the Malecon from one of the best bartenders in town. They also have good eats, too! The Shark Bite is a great place to watch your favorite sports game in an intimate setting, as well.
