By far the swankiest beach club to hit Rocky Point (and stay) is The Reef Beach Club. No, I’m not talking about the non air conditioned sweaty club from five years ago or more. Not the hose down Mirador bar Cholla Bay style…oh no. Not at all. I’m talking about The Reef Beach Club Nikki Beach style, opened up by Rocky Point’s own version of Paris Hilton, Denise Brown.

This beach club concept is the most popular place to hang on Saturday and Sunday afternoons with drink specials running all day long, two happy hour times, and the most good looking people in Rocky Point lounging on day beds. After dark, the mood is set by fire pits and tiki torches, keeping the Nikki Beach feel, but amping it up with high energy electro beats mixed by resident DJ Ruy. They also bring in special guest DJs and bands on some Sundays.

The Reef Beach Club is located on the side of the Reef RV Park, on the way to Cholla Bay. You can’t miss the stop sign and arrows pointing to the hottest spot on the beach! If you want to see Rocky Point’s populars – the “in” crowd, get on down to The Reef on any given Saturday or Sunday and grab a table or day bed. The vibe is chill out and relax to the max, but the elite DO know how to get down. They are open from 9pm-3am on Fridays and 11am-3am on Saturday and Sunday, and the kitchen is open from the same times. They offer the normal appetizer eats, but are expanding the menu to offer more food. Quesadillas, ceviche, and the other tostadas are a must try!
