The Mar Y Sol Sports Bar and Grill is a new Sports Bar just north of town on the highway to Sonoyta. They boast 5 satellites for complete coverage of all major sports, Happy Hour Prices all day long and Great food and snacks.
We stopped in on a recent visit and found a clean, comfortable (air conditioned) dining room with a view of the 25" TVs, each connected to it's own satellite dish.
The menu was a little limited but this is a sports bar after all. The food was good and reasonably priced.
Our visit was due to wanting to watch the Arizona Cardinals (yes I admit I am a Cardinals fan. Sometimes I think I may be the only one). We were disappointed that they were unable to find our game, but had four other NFL games on.
We were the only guests in the place for part of the time but I hope more people learn about this place to help it live up to its potential.
The Mar Y Sol Sports Bar and Grill is located over the Mar Y Sol Hotel on highway 8 about a mile north of town. It is the first hotel you see when nearing Rocky Point.
