Why Should I Advertise with Rocky Point Online?

Rocky Point OnLine (RPOL) provides advertising options for business/individuals wishing to reach a targeted audience specifically interested in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico and related information.

RPOL provides free Business Directory listings on the RPOL Website under the appropriate category. These free listings are limited to the business name and contact phone number.

RPOL also provides complete WebPage creation for advertisers wishing to sign on as sponsors of the site and help ensure the site remains operational. RPOL has been online for over 6 years.

Develop new web page and link to Sponsor’s matrix (Main page Menu grid) and link to entries under appropriate Business Directory categories page(s):

• $300 basic page creation/set-up.

• Basic Page consists of graphics (logo, photos, clip art or scanned images), descriptive text for product, price(s) (as applicable) and contact information (email link, physical address, phone/fax numbers). Additional features can be negotiated.

If a sponsor has an existing website and wishes only to be linked from the Sponsors and Business Directory pages in RPOL, an initial set-up is $150.

• The $150 covers establishing the graphic link from the Sponsors matrix on the main page of RPOL and links from entries in the appropriate category page(s) of the Business Directory.

Once a sponsor has established a WebPage or site link on RPOL, there is a maintenance/display charge of $50/month, billed on a semiannual basis (Jan 1 and July 1). Sponsors joining with RPOL in between these billing dates will be prorated to bring them in line with the RPOL billing cycle.

Example 1: A new sponsor desires the creation of a WebPage and links to from the RPOL Sponsor grid and entry(s) in the appropriate Business Directory page(s) with links to the new WebPage. The new sponsor requests the WebPage and links be created on April 1^st.

• $300 to create WebPage and establish logo/icon links in Sponsor grid and entries in the Business Directory with links to the new WebPage.
• $150 prorated display and maintenance charge for period April 1 – June 30 billing cycle. New billing of $300 due at end of June for July1 – Dec 31 billing cycle.

Total cost of this example option to establish online presence with RPOL: $450.

Example 2: Same as above example except sponsor has existing website and wishes to link through RPOL

• $150 to establish logo/icon links from Sponsor’s grid on RPOL main page and appropriate linked entries from the Business Directory.

• $150 prorated display and maintenance charge for period April 1 – June 30 billing cycle. New billing of $300 due at end of June for July1 – Dec 31 billing cycle.

Total initial cost of this example option: $300

Display and Maintenance charges: The monthly charges provide for the display and maintenance of the established webpages/links as well as minor changes/updates at no additional charge. Minor changes consist of small modifications requiring a few minutes of the web author’s time to complete. Examples of minor changes included at no charge are changing/adding/deleting a phone #, FAX #, address, price etc. Significant changes (normally those requiring more than ˝ hour to complete), are available at a billing rate of $25/hour, 1 hour minimum. Examples of a significant change could be designing new or replacing graphics requiring extensive work to prepare them for display on the webpage(s) or complete revision of a webpage.

The above information is provided as a guideline. RPOL is a very small operation and therefore is able to respond to requests in a timely manner. Being a small entity also allows us to be quite flexible with the unique needs of our customers.
